In a world quickly changing towards the use of machines and artificial intelligence, conventional education has been deemed to slowly succumb to irrelevance. In light of this, humanising education is no longer an optional direction or ambition, but an obligation. Therefore, IIUM has introduced new sustainable development courses, embedding sustainable development into the curriculum of its studies through the concept of ‘communiversity.’ In doing so, IIUM is preparing a new generation of agents of change towards sustainability to transform each individual person towards a whole societal transformation.
